Through our two focused specialty studios, Healthcare and Commercial, we are able to complete a diversity of projects.
Our Healthcare studio includes projects such as Hospitals, Surgery Centers, Labs, Medical Office Buildings, Clinics, Imaging Centers, Cancer Treatment Centers, Dental Suites and Medical Equipment Planning. Our Commercial Studio serves our Banking, Retail, Sports, Liturgical, Food Service, Hospitality, Corporate, Manufacturing and Industrial Clientele.
The firm's staff are licensed to practice architecture in the states of Texas and Florida.

ARCHITECTURE
Your needs, your goals – these are what inspire our design. By integrating our clients into the creative process we can assure that the final design will be not only visually and aesthetically rewarding, but will meet all functional requirements. While we have vast experience on which to draw, you can be assured that we bring something fresh and new to each unique project.
Of course, the design is only the beginning. Throughout the construction process our staff remains involved, monitoring progress and ensuring that the work satisfies the design intent.
INTERIOR
DESIGN
Spaces created by our Interior Designers reflect their spirit for the design process. Whether it is a special room, a large open area, or simply circulation from one point to another, our design solutions focus on the use of a space and its relationship with others. Attention to the flow of people and work complements considerations regarding appearance and ambiance.
The final interior design – including the space plan, finish materials, color, lighting, furnishings and accessories – provides clear direction to the builder.
PLANNING
Since Harrell Architects began, about 75% of our work has involved renovations or additions to existing occupied facilities. Projects like this require thorough advance planning to minimize disruption to the daily activities of the occupants.
Sometimes future growth has been anticipated or capital has been earmarked for construction spending. Under these circumstances, a renovation project may evolve over a period of years. Through our Master Planning Services, we can establish an order or scope of work for ongoing as well as future construction projects. This allows the client to proceed with the confidence that an earlier project will not limit or undermine future construction.
MEET THE TEAM
Perry Harrell
AIA, ACHA, RID, Principal
Mr. Harrell is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees. He is licensed as an Architect in the states of Texas and Florida, and as an Interior Designer in Texas. Mr. Harrell is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is also a certified Healthcare Architect through the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA).
Ross Turner
AIA, Senior Project Architect
Mr. Turner has been a licensed architect in the State of Texas since 2011 and has been involved in every facet of project delivery throughout his career. Mr. Turner embraces the advent of recent technologies in the field of architecture to assist in efficient project delivery and client engagement. He employs a wide array of skills involving urban planning, interior design, equipment surveying, along with a background in construction.
Vicki Fields
Bookkeeper
Ms. Fields has been serving the firm since 2019 with general bookkeeping, financial reporting, and invoicing.
Elissa Boedeker
Graphic Designer
Ms. Boedeker is a BFA graduate of Baylor University with a focus on graphic design. Her responsibilities include coordination of interior signage and wayfinding design with clients, producing signage fabrication drawings, and assisting the firm with marketing graphics.
